  1. I emailed Scott this weekend and he replied as follows: "We continue to survive and have new sets planned but just waiting to get them cleared. It's a long process." For those going to the New Jersey Record Bash in late June, Scott will be bringing the Wilson and Savory sets with him.
  2. I hadn't listened to this in many years and was thinking of selling it, which would have been a big mistake! The Trance is a captivating piece; almost puts you into a trance. Parts of it sound very mid Eastern, at least to me.
  3. Pleasure. Here is Part 2: Booker Ervin, part 2 I will post Part 3 when it's published.
  4. I lost interest in the second one half way through but eventually did return to it and finish it. I started the third one but didn’t make it that far. One of these days I will return to it.
  5. I give the Cavs a game — maybe — against GS.
  6. I’m not sure what a Mediterranean thing means but I do remember Zidane head butting an Italian player in the 2006 WC because he got under his skin just like Ramos or Pepe. Under Mourinho they weren’t fun to watch and I was glad when he left. I remember one Clásico where a Barca player shoved Pepe even before the match started.
  7. I read an article this morning that most companies are not yet GDPR compliant and that do do so would cost $100,000. That’s not the kind of money that Mosaic probably has.
  8. I watch most of the RM games and I’m not seeing a lot of the complaints about their behavior. Yes, you have Ramos, then Ronaldo when he doesn’t score and sometimes Marcelo but by and large I’m not seeing it. Now, I see Liverpool fans have started a Change.org petition against Ramos. Maybe they should start one for their keeper. If Liverpool could go down the tubes because they lost one player — albeit a good one — maybe they weren’t that good to begin with.
  9. Sonny for sure.
  10. The following is a very interesting article by Simon Spillett about Booker Ervin that has been essentially reproduced in Jazz Profiles. According to Steven Cerra, the essay appeared in the box set on Acrobat, Booker Ervin: The Good Book. This is part 1. I will post part 2 when it appears in Jazz Profiles. Booker Ervin
  11. Rethinking my position, if you like the music, no length is too long.

    Art imitates Art?
  13. I don’t really agree that they’ve run out of ideas but getting the rights may be challenging, not to mention finding a set that will be a financial success.
  14. As Felser points out, Lebron has had some lesser players around him (except in Miami). That’s why I think it’s remarkable what he’s done this year. I thought they were going out in the first round.
  15. It should be a very interesting series; I’m sure the Astros would like a little payback.
  16. Did you read the first one? Of the three books in the Liberation Trilogy, that was the best one, in my opinion.
  17. I don’t know if you can compare them because they’re different eras.
  18. Eight consecutive finals by Lebron is an amazing accomplishment.
  19. Unsold inventory increases overhead costs and thus affects the bottom line and as Lyin' Wolf observes, affects liquidity.
  20. Someone must handle legal matters for them.
