When Hurricane Sandy came through NJ it took us two weeks to get power restored. That was not fun, to say the least.

A portion of this is traditional jazz and Dixieland that I can do without plus a number of vocalists that don’t appeal to me. There is probably more on this set that doesn’t interest me than does so that is the reason I will pass on this one.

I looked over the discography today and I can’t envision that I would listen to this more than once, if that, so I’ve decided to pass.

He’s been ok, not spectacular as a Met. He’s a FA next year so I expect he will be moving on. The only two things he did in the series that probably got Brewers fans annoyed was saying something to Adames during game 1 and smashing his helmet on the ground when he scored the 4th run.

Winker seems like a guy you love to have on your team but hate him when he’s on the other team. That fourth run was huge. But great win for the Metropolitans. I ain’t cryin for the Brew Crew.

Speaking of Michael Fitzgerald, does anyone know what happened to him? I haven’t heard from him in ages.

Correct. Sonny is the only one.

He was one of the greats. What a musical life. So many songs will love forever, chief among them “I Remember Clifford,” one of the greatest songs ever written IMHO.

I have both of them. Both sets are terrific.

An unusual book, to say the least.
