    She has good intonation.
  2. "What genre is it?" Why? Otoh, sounds like a good outcome on your part. Kudos!
  3. Is this the first time in a while that they've had inventory to ship concurrent with the original announcement?
  4. I'm with Rick on that one!
  5. Ted Abernathy I remember quite well! At least when he was with the Reds... But the only Dick Hyde I remeber was a trombonist aka "Slyde" Hyde.
  6. A few have gotten pissed off. Some people have died too. And some just move on. It's all a natural progression. I'm sure the Hoffman board welcomes your participation! Don't keep them waiting!

  10. A chicken-fried mistake.
  11. This is one where the sound of The Spirit Room bugs me. TOO "transparent", like ok, it's a dead room. But why let it sound like a dead room? A little air or something in the mix, maybe? The playing itself is fine.

  13. A great musician indeed. Also a mentor. RIP
  14. I loved watching Sesame Street with my kids. LOTS of memories made! Saxophone!!!
  15. Roach, Reuben, Lonnie Smith, and Baby Face. But does that smell like Mosaic? No, right?
  16. Or Finns? Cash!!!
  17. One post got totally hinky for some reason. I can't clean it up on my phone and am too lazy to get over to the PC. Tomorrow, maybe
  18. It's this type of hype that is preventing me from spending any money on this team, specifically going to games, even on Dollar Hot Dog Nights, even with AC. They've gotten me watching TV again. Let's take it slow before we take it any further, ok? Let me know your true intentions. On that note (sorta)... I had a chance earlier this year to go to an Arlington Renegades USFL game. They play at the old The Ballpark. That was as sad as it was creepy...Bits and pieces of the previous glories were still present, but... Bits and pieces is all they were. And the bowl itself...gutted. Almost, which was even creepier. If this team is truly committed to the long haul (whatever that means these days), then ok, let's make some new memories. But dammit, none of this inflated expectations just to suck(er) the dollars. Fuck that. Mean what you say. Deeds not words. And speaking of memories...the statue of Shannon and Cooper Stone is still where it's always been, not necessarily in disrepair, but not really kept up either. My granddaughter started to play in it, but my sib told her no don't do that, that's for somebody who died here. She's only 6, but she understood and said oh, soory, and got right down. I mean, I still very much remember all that. It was horrible. And that statue is as moving as it ever was. In a lot of ways, it's more about the meaning of baseball as social fabric than any pennant or any player. And they left it behind. They left them behind for the Fucking Arlington Renegades. The USFL. Do I trust this organization yet? No.

  20. Cherry Blossom La Croix. My first time with this flavor. I am cautious with this brand, at least as many hits as misses, and the bass are really bad. But this is a new flavor and it's definitely summer. It tastes like chocolate-covered cherries. I don't think that's what they had in mind. But it's far from the worst thing I've ever had.
  21. I don't trust them. They have a malevolent spirit. Kick them off the bus right now. #buddylives
