have you heard the story aobut how sanana hooked up with paul reed smith- very similar-- PRS was desparete to get a guitar santana to try and carlos was like no way 1,000 times then finally he was like all fine, ill try your guitar, and he tried it in concert for 10 seconds and took it off and PRS was like let me tweak the pickups and it will be perfect and hes all no. and PRS begged him and santana was like- fine. then santana loved the guitar and told PRS i'm keeping it but not paying you and PRS didnt tell him this but it was actually Howard Leese's guitar so PRS had to beg carlos to get it back with promise of a new even better one, then he recorded the entire Zeebop album on it

RIP MY DAWG BOB PORTER, I cant believe he was already 80. When he was 5 years younger than I am now and just 5 years before I came to earth, he had the foresight to run this off while they were putting together "Gene Ammons: The 78 era."- seems like it's probably the only copy outside the vault. THANK YOU BOB PORTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your time in space, hope youre life review goes well and hope you get to experience an even more musical and jazzier planet to try out next.

Hammond newbie looking to buy. Need advice!
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez replied to BlueSpirits's topic in General Discussion
If you dont need to go pro and want a setup youre in luck. Wait youre in Canada: dont what the general organ culture is like north of crazytown, but if you have the mobility and a hundred or so bux here you can walk away w/ a M3 & Leslie speaker combo at *various* times of late. As long as you can move it and have space for it your sit. While youre at it, get a *baldwin* my guy: aboustely astonishing organ if you ever come across an early baldowin check out LES STRAND who recorded two albums on fantasy on baldwin (the third was hammond). -
