  4. HEY GUYS, CHEWY-CHEW-CHEW HERE, any of you ever notice how many garage rock bands in the late 60s covered this song, as originally recorded by KB? it really "crossed-over" if you know what i mean. have any of you heard the more rockin version of it? and why was it such a crossover? in some regards id consider it more sucessful than even sidewinder because when 20 teen garage bands cover it, thats pretty interesting ifyou ask me...

  19. I dont mean to pull a Freakouldt on you guys: BUT WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS OH MY GOD I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH THIS::::::: THE WHOLE BEAUTY OF RCA VICTOR LIVING STEREO WAS THAT IT WAS FOR ***RECORDS*** AND IF YOU REISSUE AN RCA VICTOR LIVING STEREO ALBUM ON DIGITAL COMPACT DISC IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE AND THE WHOLE BEAUTY OF RCA LIVING STEREO IS LOST>>>>>>>ITS AKIN TO, OH, IF I CUT A WHOLE IN MY CYBILL SHEPHERD ALBUM COVER AND MADE SEXY-TIME WITH IT, AND THEN GOING AROUND SAYING I HOOKED UP WITH CYBILL SHEPHERD.
  20. bob cranshaw used to be involved w/ it a lot
  21. why ive seen so many water dammaged blue notes i dont know-- i have a water dammaged (but the lp itself plays fine) copy of Holiday for Skins vol 1, and the other day i saw in the dollar bin a water dammged copy of Groovin' @ smalls vol 1 (but didnt get it- id rather save my dollar for big john patton thankyouverymuch) and ive seen others as well
  22. what is up with the bonus track? This release from Atavistic supplies further confirmation of this line of inquiry in a very unusual bonus track featuring Sun Ra playing squeaking door in the shape-shifting depths of percussion, delay, and reverb. so alton abraham is still alive and the original el saturn research master tapes are accounted for?
  23. dont fret about this one too much, the best part is the "take the A train" but other than that its pretty typical 70s sun ra freakout music, im not one to critize mr. ra but his later music in the late 70s/early 80s is really a return to form for him and that is what you should focus on
