must add, this i one of the best early lp masterings ive heard....it can be cranked with spectacular fidelity- sound quality on charlie parker sounds great and espically kessel's guitar cuts right through

took my Portrait of Cannonball out of the shrink today, there was no special sticker, it was crispy + yellowed, and crap i kept it on there sixty freaking years it wasnt protecting the jacket at all so i thought screw it and i took it off, looks a lot better IMO. It was a pretty involved process though

sold out in 1 hr, 15 min. Funny everyone wants to rip on 1983 and then BOOM. Its as simple as this: group sound that year was new enough to bring new life to the classics. The Yamaha GS-1 is center to this. Someone was hating on me on the announcement talking about jerry frog throat. There is only like a handful (small handful) of shows im uncomfortable with cause of j.f.t and none of them are even in 1983
