very interesting, 1st i have heard of his, TS is a good dude and i hope he wins. im actually suprised he ok'd the original deal w/ the beer label. i saw it a few years ago, and thought, oh thats funny. but i know who monk is an have his records, but for a regular person- i would say thats kind of 'characterizing' him in beer form that might not make sense to the lay person

Greatest LPs to never make it to CD
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez replied to Mark Stryker's topic in The Vinyl Frontier
do they, oh god. ok. dog you know what IS better than the lp? i have paul chambers 1st bassman and "go" on early cd by some very small early us cd company "suite beat"--- no comparison between the lps and cds....i got rid of both in favor of the cd. espically philly joe snare sound on "go", extreme hi-fi sound- even if it was not made from the master, its liek w/ the bowie cds-- its rather have an uncompressed cd of the lp cutting dub over a compressed sounding copy of the master. i totally believe u about the cds- i had my hopes up when i saw theres made in holland copies in addition to made in usa, for those applause cds -

i saw my 1st 12" victor scroll the other week at goodwill however it was sweedish choral music. this has way more general redeeming value, altough those people still make good pasteries OH BY THE WAY DOG......... mint edison discs. theres nothing i need to worry about there, right. 5 or 6 of em, at least 4 were as mint as you get. not white label ones, the all black ones. i cant even play those, correct, they had complete gloss theyre putting the fire out! -

i see a lot of ppl are posting Muse, Muse did have early cds, but i think they just were for current titles, c. 88-89? or did tlhey did reissues too. what about sonny criss crisscraft, thats a older record they put on early cd, i have it..... there might be others ...is there a way on discogs to look at releases by format, ive never figured that out....you kind of have to click on each title.... -
