  9. Berigan-i've been away for a while, so i apologize for the late post. i've been an RN for 20 plus years, and have dealt with cancer patients extensively. one thing i've learned is that someone in your family needs to take the bull by the horns and be very proactive regarding getting your mother treatment. if theings are taking to long (tests doctor appts) call the insurance company and complain. the squeeky wheel gets the grease. be polite, but firm. i if i can answer any questions for you, feel free to PM me.

  11. there's a fine line between Kitschy and tacky. Ms.Spears has crossed that line.
  12. the Coen Bros. crack me up. so far i've liked all their films, especially, The Big Lebowski, Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, Fargo, Raising Arizona, The Man Who Wasn't There, O Brother, and Barton Fink, The Hudsucker Proxy. Looking forward to seeing, Intolerable Cruelty.
  13. careful, you could put your eye out with one of those things.
  14. most of the home improvement stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Etc.) have weekend classes on things like laying tile, decorative wall painting, and the like. i haven't done my floors yet, (gotta paint first), but i have done some mosaic-ing, and it's not that difficult. best to start with a little used room or closet to gain skill and confidence. if you have a big job buy one of these, other wise rent.
