They should say that to our very crappy local radio stations, then i'd support the idea.

Maybe Good Speak works for Disney. Seriously i don't see anything wrong with it and quite frankly i don't see the interest or the point of making a thread about it. First, they want to censor violence and the next thing i know they'll want to censor chicks who show off some skin and i certainly don't want them to go there -

I would guess that you weren't thrilled about the Sopranos ending either To me, the ending made sense. Careful Spoilers please scroll down if you don't want to know anything. The Tommy Lee Jones character who is the moral character of the story figured out that there was no way he would beat the killer to its own game. So he elected to call it a day instead of going for broke. And could actually to tell the tale. The moral of the story, don't bite off more than you can chew. Who knows, maybe they'll do a sequel with the killer. Anton returns -

Winnipeg is a running gag for people living in bigger cities in Canada. When i think of that city, i think of the portrait of the Queen Elizabeth that hung over the rink at the old Winnipeg Arena. BTW; you should see the Guy Maddin documentary My Winnipeg, great stuff from a very underrated filmmaker. -

Marv Levy is probably one of the classiest guys in football, too bad he never won the big one. In Montreal we still remember him fondly. is marv still gm at buffalo? buffalo is an excellent team. Yeah he is. He retired for a while but went back, he's not getting any younger, he's now 82. -

So, how was Sharon ? She was wonderful. No Budos Band but the Dap Kings and her (at least the Dap Kings) were on stage for a solid two hours. The place was very packed. She said that it was the first show she had ever sold out. When you saw her did she do James Brown songs for the encore? BTW: Dr. Stanley was a treat tonight. He doesn't play banjo much (only one song) but the band and him were great. The highlights were Angel Band, Pretty Polly (my request), and Oh, Death As i mentionned in the previous post, she did It's a man man man's world, in Montreal the show turned out to be a sold out, the last tickets were probably sold while the first set was going on. Did she pace herself because with the level of energy she exhudes, i hardly can beleive that she was able to last two hours on stage. -

Why on earth would you enjoy seeing Canada lose in hockey??? I take it you're not a Habs fan! Cheers, Shane Actually i am since i'm from Montreal, but i just hate the attitude " We created the sport, , our way of playing is the only way and the tuggish attitude that comes with it." What symbolizes it better that when Bobby Clarke slashed Valeri Kharlamov to put him out of harm in the 72 series. Was Kharlamov a saint, no way, but when your best move is to injure opponents to win, in a way you have already lost the battle. Considering that prior to the series Canadians were supposed to wipe the floor with the USSR team and when it turned out they were in fact their equals. Revisionists made it like it was the greatest Canadian hockey win. -
If you enjoy them, you should enjoy Mark Hollis solo effort.

I'm sensing a little hostility here. Goddamn fuck shit piss, papsrus, shit asshole damn shit hell! What the fuck are you talking about, motherfucker? You're a sad, pathetic lonely fucking man! I'm gettin' all warm and fuzzy here. ... completely off topic, but ... I'm reminded of the final episode of season one (I think) of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," where they finally open their restaurant. Open kitchen overlooks the restaurant. Surprise, the chef has turrets. Starts swearing away. Everyone horrified. To salvage the situation, co-owner Larry starts blurting out obscenities too, to make it seem as though shouting obscenities is some sort of theme for the restaurant. Before you know it, the whole place is swearing away like mad! Hysterical. Now, back to Bonds. He's a motherfucking shithead and so are his shit-pissing, fuck-faced critics. (I feel better now. Off to church I go.) Ah the fuckin' son of a bitch , he's such a cocksucker, what a miserable bastard that motherfucking shitface. You're right i feel better, next time i'll do it in Québecois. -

By the way, saw the 1st half of Spain-Sweden, the Spaniards for once looked brilliant and qualified in a sovereign fashion. Talk about an underacheiving nation futbal wise, will it be eventually their year. -

Don't think it's a bad thing to see a team to struggle during qualifyers, as long as they qualify, of course. Saw too many teams look like a million bucks at this conjuncture and then fizzle when the "real competition" start. Remember the Argentines in 2002. My second favourite team, the Dutch , has been the poster boy team for this kind of display of peaking at the wrong time. Look at the last WC, can't say that Les Bleus inspired much confidence the way they got in and it turned out way over any expectations, at least mine.
