Most of her previous music is unfortunately a meh for yours truly , kinda gave up on her , I'll try to listen to this one and see I can get a better feeling of hers.

LAMBERT / GROGG
Alex Grogg: piano • Michel Lambert: drums
MICHAEL FORMANEK QUARTET
Michael Formanek: double bass • Tim Berne: alto saxophone • Jacob Sacks: piano • Tyshawn Sorey: drums
Very enjoyable doubleheader, the duo was a long musical fresque that covered many ranges of music, at times it sounded like Fats Waller meets Cecil Taylor , a lot of good spots. The quartet was a lot more compelling live than what I've heard on CD.
Have no qualms about it, just waiting for a better price, as great as the music, the poor quality of the presentation stops me from wanting to pay top dollar for these...
From what I've figured out Baghet, Cinque Piccole storie, from G to G, the village fair, les hommes armés , Italian Jazz graffiti , around small fairy tales , Electric five and Missa
Is it me or the prices have raised a bit, combined to the level of the Euro to our local Buck and they ain't cheap , the Sun Ra comes at around 35 bucks for 4 cds , don't get me wrong it is worth it but we're far away from a budget series especially when the added values are on the cheap side.(No booklet and mostly unreadable notes.)
Peolple interpret things in any way they want, if they want to see good in it they'll manage a way to do so and the other way around. As far as understanding the meaning of a text, well before the internets gimmick came to be mainstream, a lot of people got still easily confused. Just have to remember that Spingsteen's Born in the USA was used as a patrotic anthem !!!!
Seems most of these services aim at at the average movie fan and series lover and are leaving aside those who were left out in the transformation of the movie theater into megaplexes, that is the arthouse or international film crowd.
You kinda hope they would target more the "mature movie fans" , it hasn't happened yet.
