  3. I have 56: 5+1 for the Clips series, 5+3 for the Mavs series, 5+3 for the Pistons series, 5+1 for the Miami series, 5+3 for the New Jersey series, 5+3 for the Cavs/Wiz, 5+1 for the Spurs series, 5+1 for the Suns series
  4. Anybody else think Kwame Brown should be traded after this season? His trade value is never going to be higher -- he's the Jerome James of '06. Guy
  5. As much as it pains me to say this, Bell should be suspended. Stupid. Guy
  6. I'm sure Dirk and co. are crossing their fingers. Guy
  7. I have this in the overflow pile, will hopefully get to it by the end of the year. Dig up the Chapin thread in the archives and contribute your thoughts! Guy
  8. Yikes, what a creep. Guy
  9. Hooray, common sense! John Tapscott's entry below is good too. Guy
  10. I own this Soft Machine offshoot album produced by Robert Fripp and featuring Robert Wyatt, Brian Eno and Phil Miller. The title and album cover are tongue-in-cheek, right? Guy
  11. Japo discography
  12. I remember seeing Robert Horry hit David Robinson in the nuts at a Lakers-Spurs playoff game. One of the few times I've seen Tim Duncan lose his cool. Guy
  13. No, what did he say? Guy
  14. There's a nice slam of Crouch in Scott Yanow's AMG review:
  15. This is pretty creepy, Alexander. This isn't a story about some insignificant 8th century Danish prince, it's about September 11th. Guy
  16. what the hell are you talking about [/contemporaryladySF] figure it out. Duh, I tried but I'm a little unclear on what "this thing" refers to. Iraq? Afghanistan? A period characterized by general public ignorance? Anyway, it's not really my style to trash people who aren't even out of high school so I'll shut up now. thank you so much. Can you please explain what you were talking about? Guy
  17. I will have to check out some of this music. Based on your description and various reviews it must be excellent. Guy
  18. It's worth downloading their song "Grendel" -- one of the first things they did, and hilariously awful. Especially when they plagiarize "Apocalypse in 9/8". Guy
  19. They were definitely a Genesis lite band early on but developed more of an identity later on. I picked up one of his solo albums, Sunsets on Empire, back in college as well. Not bad, not great. Guy
  20. I'm a lot more disturbed by Concord's decision to reissue the same jazz recordings for the umpteenth time than by the Bolton release. Alas, all the stuff left in the Fantasy vault is going to remain there for a looooooong time. Guy
  21. In college I picked up way too many Marillion albums, most of which I wouldn't acquire again if given the chance, but this is a damn good album. "Hotel Hobbies", "At That Time of the Night", "White Russian", "Slainte Mhath", "Sugar Mice" -- great stuff! Guy
  22. Agreed. GOD I HATE THE LAKERS. Guy
  23. Hinrich hit that crazy 3 from way out there. The Bulls are looking really good, though I still think Miami will pull out a win in this series. Barely. Nash really blew it at the end of regulation. And at the end of OT. Guy
  24. how would expressions rate? i believe that was the last release he authorized. I would actually rank it below Interstellar Space and Stellar Regions. But we're talking about music at a very high level. All of the '67 studio stuff does, but is it the music or the listener? Guy
