Create a master music folder. Move all your other music folders into it. In windows explorer, right click on the master folder and select properties. Go to the customize tab, change folder type to music... ...put a checkmark in the box labeled "also apply this type to all subfolders". That way the change becomes global to all the music folders inside. Good luck

....don't go to sleep on the Texans. These guys are getting VERY close to being a real threat.

I'm still working my way through Season 1, definitely enjoying it...but then again...I'm a Rose Byrne FANATIC...so my opinion is a little biased.

YAY! Happy Birthday!! Hope you're having a nice time.

This sounds interesting!!!! I hope you guys are planning on recording this date, I think it would be awesome. ....Damage Inc. should be easy to re-arrange without losing the overall vibe, just be sure to leave in the "GO!" before the solo starts. \m/

Yes, they should. I have the political forum hidden, I don't need to see it elsewhere.

I'm late to this thread, but I'm definitely a fan (though I need to explore further). If I had to pick a favorite song it would be King Midas In Reverse. I actually never heard that song until it was featured in the soundtrack of The Limey, but it really made an immediate impression. At the time I had no idea it was the same band that recorded Long Cool Woman.

That should be a good game, will be interesting to see how Baltimore fares in that one, they are looking pretty tough so far.

Lost - Season 2 Watched the entire season in 2 days. LOL. Probably one of the best seasons of television I've seen.

Unable to see this tour, but I gotta say that I'm still quite excited with the music PT is releasing. The Incident takes a few spins to sink in, but details continue to emerge. The bonus disc doesn't get mentioned enough, some great songs on there, especially Black Dahlia which might be my favorite song on the entire album.

Nice to see the Bengals actually finish a game in the 4th quarter for a change, nice win over the Steelers. Hats off to the Lions, they flat out NEEDED a win. Seattle needs to burn the Green jerseys....

Even though I'm a relative Porcupine Tree novice (a few months), I have to say that no other band I can think of (regardless of genre) has this kind of effect on me. I thought the time had passed where I could feel this passionately about a particular group, it was a pleasure to welcome that feeling back. The ability to openly pay homage to your influences without ripping them off is a rare gift, Wilson has that to the nth degree.

DAMN. Give us Austin dudes some advance notice. Hope the gig goes well! -
Are you ever suddenly bored by what used to be some of your favorite j

E7#9. At least I think that's the chord it struck. Actually, I can definitely see that being a factor for some people. I like many different styles of music, so when I get bored with one I have plenty of other options to explore. When I was heavily listening to jazz all the time it was because I had become COMPLETELY burnt on rock music and was looking for something else to spark the passion. Jazz filled that void nicely. Then eventually (10+ years) the straight-ahead jazz stuff started to sound boring...and the rock stuff I was hearing was REALLY exciting again. So I appear to have come full circle. Of course my mood changes hourly, so the only thing I can be sure of is that I'll feel differently about it in a little while. LOL -

I haven't been able to listen to straight-ahead hard bop for a couple years now, doesn't do a damn thing for me anymore...maybe one of these days. I'm happy exploring the modern wave of rock/progressive/metal acts right now. The pendulum will swing back to jazz eventually...or it won't...either way I'm content. -
Yeah, that was the first time I actually watched him play a game, he's pathetic. Some of those passes would have missed the side of a barn. 'tis a shame, the rest of the team looks like they're on the way up...

The league is so hamstrung by rules that it takes alot of the fun out of the game. Back in the old days, the QB got his head knocked off, the backup took over and the team missed the playoffs. TOO BAD! THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HOLD THE BALL TOO LONG!

It was a touchdown, that "going to the ground" thing is utter bull shite.

I'm spinning the disc now, picked it up this evening on the way home from work. I stayed up past midnight last night just so I could listen to it on LALA. VERY interesting album, will take awhile to digest completely. Darker & moodier than their last couple albums, less overt "rockin'" stuff, more restrained. In the song "Time Flies" they use a variation on the final section of Pink Floyd's Sheep as the jumping off point. Other songs that jumped out at me right away are The Blind House (my favorite so far), Drawing The Line and Octane Twisted.

Nice to see I'm not the only one.

Just happened to notice that I passed the 5000 post mark and I find it kind of hard to believe it took me that long. I haven't had much to contribute the past couple years, but I still enjoy browsing the threads. Thanks again to Jim for creating the board and letting me hang around this long.

Another fan of "Roadhouse" here...also "Next Of Kin" and "Point Break" were guilty pleasures. A very likable actor. R.I.P.
