I've always liked "Musings" perhaps because it seemed a precursor to the quintet recordings. And I've always wondered why there was never a single cd release of the December 24,'54 Monk session complete with dialogue.

Lord lists Don Byas and Lucky Thompson both on tenor on "Let's Go" (I got Rhythm). Losin lists the first Bird and Dizzy recording of Dizzy Atmosphere as early 1945. (February 28) And who knows if it was new then.

Has anyone done a breakdown of the all the shots from different films? But as good as the visual montage is, the sound montage is even more spectacular it seems to me. this must have required a lot of work. Anyone know who did it?
