OK, if there's an existing thread on this topic I'm TOTALLY unaware! On my beloved club chair I've discovered an inch-and-a half-or-so rip on the arm, right where my left hand rests. For the life of me I have NO MF IDEA how that happened, but I'd like to fix it. I don't really care so much about making the repair invisible, but I'd like to fix it up and be done with it. Glue, patches, whatever......tell me what I need to do. Thank you in advance, my wise friends.

When I was college the orchestra played a piece by Karel Husa called "Music for Prague" that had similar extremes in sound. It was an exciting piece to hear, almost frightening.
