Jim, I'm so sorry to hear this. I know what a great relationship you had with your dad. It's certainly a tough loss to experience, I've been through it myself with both parents. Can't you contact the post office (or UPS or whoever) and have them pick it up and re-deliver it? I've had simliar things happen to me and I have gone out of my way to correct the situation, but then I tend to believe in the whole karma thing. EDIT: Just ask yourself "what would TRANE do?" (WWTD)

Actually I bought a 42" LCD made by LG. I've only had it about a week, but I like it a lot. I was originally going to get a 37", but decided on the larger size and I'm very glad I did. High def is awesome! "Trombone groupie girls"? Now's there's an oxymoron.

Just got back from seeing it. I thought it was great! Lots of fun, but not without a solid storyline. Director Jon Favreau had a small part as Tony Stark's driver. Some intriguing hints of things to come too! Batman preview looked good too (as did the Indiana Jones). Looks like a good summer for movies!

I'm probably going to go this week and was wondering if anyone has seen it yet. Comments? Also curious to see the new Hulk & Batman movies. Still hoping for a Justice League movie, I think with the advances in special effects they could do a pretty good job- I'd like to see Green Lantern, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, Metamorpho and others who haven't been portrayed yet. I am a sucker for these comic book movies.

I'm currently living in a "townhome" w/shared walls on each side. Currently, both spaces beside me are empty, which means 24 hr. shedding, loud music and loud movies on my end. Yippee! Summer Of George! I'm sure my joy will be punished with pissy new neighbors. Most likely young professionals who like to listen to horrible pop music such as......(your message here).
