Usually Sunday morning is "legit" time- Bach cello suites (specifically the Janos Starker recordings that I learned about here!), string quartets, chamber ensembles, solo piano, that type of stuff while we read the Sunday paper and drink our coffee. No gig for me tonight. I've been hanging out here. Sorry your gig was a drag. Hang in there, your situation is bound to get better, or (hopefully) change altogether.

SS, many are the times that I have wanted to bag it all, usually in the wake of some lame-ass humiliating gig that didn't pay enough for the a) lack of musical quality or b) amount of bullshit. I usually feel differently after a good night's sleep, and also when I realize that a) I love the music too much to quit and b) I have no other marketable skills. Keep hope alive!

I went to bed hours ago, I just put my computer on auto-post after midnight.
