  1. Great show last night, but it turned out to be only the Baseball Project although they did some tunes by the related bands (including 3 Dream Syndicate songs). How was Watt? Watt was fantastic! He has a great new album out right now called "The Hyphenated-Man" and he and his band performed it in its entirety. Then he did 4 or 5 Minutemen tunes for an encore. If you liked the Minutemen, you will love this tour/album.

  5. It's a compilation. Forgot to say that I saw Furthur w/ Phil and Bobby last week. Pretty good but I think I caught them on an off night judging by the recent set lists. DSO are a lot of fun.
  6. A box of the JCOA would be most welcome. How many records did they put out on that label, 6? 7 maybe? I'd still vote for Ric Colbeck's The Sun is Coming Up. Never on CD. Killer date.
  7. Definitely worth thinking about. Cloud storage is going to be the next big thing. Or so I'm told. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloud_storage

  10. Seriously, what were they thinking? Doc won the Cy Young award, threw a perfect game, and threw a no hitter in the playoffs. So SI decides that Cliff Lee gets the front and center spot?

  13. RIC COLBECK The Sun Is Coming Up. AFAIK, this has not been available since the initial run went OOP.
  14. Well it looks like Bradley Thomas Lidge will be joining Utley on the DL for the foreseeable future. Of the two it sounds like Lidge's injury(shoulder pain) is the more serious. Dang, this is not good. Setting sights for the WC now.

  22. Not overly impressed w/ their pitching.
  23. Concerned, not worried. I still think they are a lock for the playoffs w/out him, barring any further injuries. As long as the starting 4 stays intact they really don't need to worry about their offensive as last year's Giants proved. I think it's between the Braves, Phils, and Giants in the NL this season. Right now I'm picking the Braves.
  24. Wish I had seen this last Thursday...
