I went to see Dave Burrell last night and it was really good. He's doing another show this Saturday at 3pm. Also, after the show I went to go see Khan Jamal perform in a duet at Tritone. Unfortunately Khan was a no show. What was/is even more troubling was that no one was able to get in touch with him. Hopefully the guy is alright and just had car trouble or something.

All I can say is that you must be having a very boring Winter. If a player doesn't think his team can compete, then he shouldn't be on the team. Haha, the Mets fans are parroting each other, I see. And using a football dig(and an old one at that) when discussing baseball teams is the best you can do? I agree w/ you that a player should believe his team can compete. I just think it would have carried more weight if he had been a little more bold in his statement. That quote sounded like something Casper Milquetoast might say.

I like the Jets' chances. If they can get by the Steelers next weekend they will have beaten Payton Manning, Brady, and Roethlisburger in the playoffs. Pretty incredible feat, if they can pull it off.
