  1. Teddy Charles, Evolution. Prestige Japanese pressing
  2. I know Dorset well but for some reason I've hardly ever strayed into Wiltshire except for a couple of visits to Salisbury and Stonehenge. I'll have to remedy the situation this year and visit Avebury
  3. Thanks aloc, I always enjoy you train pics.
  4. Thanks for the pictures MG, just how I remembered the shop. Jazz was in the basement.
  5. Sad news, although I'll admit to not going in their local store any more. Nothing there for me, the jazz racks seemed to shrink more at every visit. I've bought one or two things online when the price was right but the jazz inventory was never that good. Nevertheless their presence on the High Street will be missed. Then there's the nostalgia, the record label (Impulse albums came out in the UK on the HMV label) and years ago there was the wonderful shop at 363 Oxford Street.
  6. On my door mat after a couple of days away. Still to play but anticipating some nice things. Good service from No Business. Thanks to Romualdo for an early heads up and to Stefan Wood for a a bit more info.

  15. Just found Siesta complete on Youtube. As far as I know it's not been televised in the UK and I've never come across a dvd locally (not that I've looked very hard). Of interest because of the MIles soundtrack, A bit odd but worth a view. .
