And despite all the deletions, its still nice to see that there's a reissue program.

I'm looking forward to the other Leo Parker as I just got Let Me Tell You 'Bout It yesterday for Christmas. Also looking forward to the Parlan; finally nice to something other than the Parlan Conns that have already seen reissue. Any opinions on the Turrentine?

This is one of Big John's biggest badazz records, with Understanding being number one for me. Agree. I really miss the days when Tower was really, really good. They even had a whole aisle devoted to jazz. This was at least 10 years ago of course.

Yeah, an unusual move by Universal to put out such a great batch of avant garde titles. My guess, is that this is all we're going to see of any future Free America titles in the future, at least in cd form.
