  1. I think the 'Pay it Forward' thread is sort of like that: http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=17254
  2. Right. How about Free at Last for starters. And how about the Marion Brown and Sam Rivers while were at it? edit to say that I don't know if the Rivers was ever on cd
  3. Wayne Shorter: Odyssey of Iska and Moto Grosso Feio
  4. Of course, it may have been the only shirt he owned at that time, and the photos could have been taken on different days. If you look at his hair its styled the same too, except that I think the AP+11 photo is inverted or the Gettin' Together photo is....
  5. Crap, I found another duplicate today-the Red Hot on Impulse! sampler-I own all the albums on it though, except for two
  6. Art Pepper (same shirt, different background):
  7. I do that, but not because of senility. There it is, a great CD at Half Price Books for $4.99. It will not be there the next time. Do I own it? I have too much to be able to remember. Best to buy it and check later. This is a symptom of some problem, just not senility. They allow you to hold it for up to seven days...so you can go home and check. -_-
  8. Nabbed some used SACD's today at the Exchange: Art Pepper-Gettin' Together-Contemporary Bill Evans-Explorations-Riverside ...and then I nabbed some excellent stuff out of the $1 bin at Half Price: Reuben Wilson-Blue Breakbeats-BN Karl Amadeus Hartmann-Klavierwerke-Siegfried Mauser-Virgin Classics Alexandr Mosolov-sonata for piano No. 2 in B minor op. 4 & No. 5 in D minor op. 12, Deux Nocturnes op. 15-Herbert Henck-ECM New Series J.S. Bach-Goldberg Variations-Italian Concerto-Chromatic Fantasia & Fugue-Maggie Cole-Virgin Veritas 2 cd set. Nice haul for $4!!!
  9. Betcha they've never been to an AC/DC concert.
  10. The only duplicate material I've ever had was two copies of Blue Train: an RVG and the Ultimate Blue Train. Ended up dumping the Ultimate-was never impressed with the bonus computer stuff.
  11. Booby Hutcherson's Head On and Cirrus-kinda hard to miss that hat and glasses!
  12. Absolutely, positively rediculous. What's next? Cher covering Maiden's 'Run to the Hills'?
  13. Cool stuff, thanks for posting.
  14. Temps are a bit cooler today and drizzling. Still too hot to keep the windows open at night as we tried to last night. Thank God for AC!
  15. Byron Allen Trio-ESP Disk/Calibre
  16. Yup. In certain suburbs around Cleveland and downtown. Some news shows revealed where they were located around town. There are also cameras to catch speeders too.
  17. Ham, mashed potatoes and green beans.
  18. I've learned from a few judges that if you drive no more than 10 miles over the speed limit (except for school zones, constructions zones, etc) that a judge will throw out the case. So you at least have that (I guess I should just speak for Ohio, to be sure).
  19. My 1988 copy reads "Demensions and Extensions" on the spines. Still waiting for A New Conception to be issued, but for me, Dimensions is a more rewarding listen. my collector's choice copy says that too. Never noticed that!
  20. Fairly cool night out around 70 degrees.
  21. Hey thanks for posting this. I never had Captain Marvel in my sights, but this band smokes! Gonna keep my eye for it.
  22. Forgot he was on the album too
  23. Alan Shorter: Parabola, off of Orgasm. I can't stop playing this first track! There's some great Gato and Haden here too.
