Yeah, I held on to my Ayler Records copy too (I like the production) and have the Ghost box set. It will be a shame for someone in the future who wants to hear this music and both items are OOP. This is great music and great Cherry for that matter.

I never really followed the batman movies, nor am I a huge comic book fan, but after seeing TDK, I was really impressed with Heath Ledger's performance-he was just downright spooky and ruthless! He was even pretty funny at times (the joker, ha ha). In short, Heath made this film IMO, and if it wasn't for him, I don't think this film (and this is from a non-comic book fan perspective mind you) would've been nearly as good. Just my opinion

remember one time at the Exchange a couple of years ago a bunch of jazz cd's were in their dollar bin: Don Cherry/Ed Blackwell-El Corazon-ECM Don Cherry-Dona Nostra-ECM Henry Threadgill and Makin' a Move-Where's Your Cup?-Columbia Henry Threadgill-Makin' a Move-Columbia William Parker-Peach Orchid-AUM Fidelity New York Ear and Eye Control-ECM Tony Williams-Spring-BN James Newton-Suite for Frida Kahlo-Audiophile And there was nothing wrong with these cds! Someone really goofed there.

Can't recall the exact details but I sorta remember some commerials using jazz tracks: 1. A K-Mart/Martha Stewart commerical using Trane's "My Favorite Thnings" 2. Perhaps a car commercial (maybe Lincoln?) using Dolphy's "Hat 'n' Beard"
