fIREHOSE only happened because the lead singer of the Minutemen was killed in an auto wreck. As I understand it, Watt was going to quit music entirely and took quite a bit of convincing to try again with fIREHOSE. I love the Ragin', Full On album. I hadn't had it since losing the tape years ago, so it was great to get it from eMusic.

The SST catalogue is on eMusic. I grabbed some Minutemen and fIREHOSE in my last batch.

There were too many bad calls on the Bruins and ignored calls against the Gators to remember them all, but the one that stands out to me was Noah throwing Mata to the ground from behind and getting a rebound dunk. Just a blatant, obvious foul. No whistle.

Marbury's been wearing his own kicks to play in, and he's been having knee problems. Maybe there's something to the more expensive shoes.

Good plan, ejp626. The officiating in this game was very one-sided in favor of the Gators, and the Bruins didn't play well in spite of it.

Believe me, I didn't mean it as a knock on Zeca. I'm deeply grateful for what he's doing. It would be exponentially more difficult and expensive to explore this genre without his hard work. I'd have to believe there's some enthusiasm at DG despite the hype, with all that selection. The BASTARDS!

You wouldn't want some of MY vinyl, Noj - where's the smiley for "Yechcchhh!"? Almost every CD I buy that I already have on vinyl is a huge upgrade. MG True, but if I could have them all crisp and new I could digitize them myself then tuck the precious plates away.

I don't have a RapidShare account, but some of those links at Loronix are from old (though apparently still active) .de links that RapidShare used before they went to .com — which at least explains why the screen looks different. Man, that's a lot of downloads. What, you didn't want to download the "Péle Sings" record? Thanks for the explanation, Late. The trouble is, Zeca is like the Dusty Groove of bloggers. Everything is "essential" and "a classic." I'm not sure what to skip! Now that I've got a big chunk, I'll listen for a while before going back for more.
