I don't think I've ever seen a sports prediction that accurate. Crazy!

The Dodgers just look pathetic the last three games. Game-blowing errors and no offense to speak of, backing into the playoffs in an ugly way. Win a fucking game and clinch already. Not that it matters, play like this and they'll get swept for certain.

Thanks again for all your hard work in compiling the tracks and information, Alex. Very enjoyable listen.

I actually changed the channel away from the Niners/Minnesota game figuring it was over. Rough loss for San Fran.

I'm still pissed that I can't pass level three on Agg's stupid mah jongg game. Damn it. -

I detest fans who chant lame, classless crap at our rivals. It's just as embarrassing as the trolls at the Laker game chanting "Boston sucks" to the Celtics. I mean, come on. Not only are the Celtics a long way from sucking these days, but at least try to have some class. LA does have to deal with a bit of the "gangster" element polluting our teams' fan bases. They pick fights with opposing fans at the stadiums and throw food and drinks at them. Such morons should be greeted by security and escorted out with a lifetime ban. It's one of the reasons I love going to UCLA Bruin football games at the Rose Bowl, because my brother and his friends know how to exchange friendly banter with the opposing fans. A little tongue-in-cheek trash talk with a smile, then share a beer with the folks from out of town. It's sports, not something to come to blows over.

The negligence shown in allowing this loony to escape would be laughable if it weren't so dangerous. Similarly, I'd just chuckle at our resident right wingers if they weren't so horrifyingly stupid.

8, after taking 2 of 3 from the Giants. Great to beat the amazing Tim Lincecum today.

Well, if we ever needed a measuring stick for the importance of Wes Welker to the Patriots' offense, we got it today. 21 straight regular season victories for the Pats, second most in history--it had to come to an end at some point. -

You aren't kidding. I was waffling like crazy and then just said screw it and picked my first instinct. -

That's a catch down at the park. To me, this was more a case of the "ground causing a fumble" than the ground "causing an incomplete pass." Enough control over the ball was displayed through two hands gripping the ball way up high, and two feet connecting to the turf long before Murphy and the ball went to the ground. Their rule is too open to interpretation and did exactly the thing they want to avoid, which is "negating great plays." -
It was strike four. The announcers said numerous times that Rivera was playing too deep. I thought a dive might be in order on the play too, but the camera angle was from a foreshortened view.
-
Fuentes' stuff doesn't look in the least bit intimidating. Low 90s fastball and out of the strike zone with his breaking pitches. I thought he's at least try to get Ortiz, but Fuentes pussyfooted around him. In his defense he's only supposed to get three outs. I mean, Green struck out twice in that at bat, but still managed to draw a bases loaded walk to tie the game. That ump needs to grow a pair and make the right call. Usually MLB umpires have no problem sending the home crowd to their cars disappointed.
-
Nice home cookin' in that Nick Green at bat for Boston.
-
We watched different plays, afaic Conn. I saw control and two feet on the ground. No sense arguing it now, it's in the books! Russell stinks, he telegraphs passes and lacks accuracy. Running game looks solid. Seymour made an instant impact on defense.
-
The kid never lost control of the ball. I'm as accepting of that explanation as I am the ludicrous "tuck rule" call.
-
The NFL with their first "we hate Al Davis" call of the year. Such bullshit. I'm not watching the rest of this fucking farce of a game. The NFL can kiss my ass.
-
That's "pennant," Brother Goodz. It was the perfect storm. The Giants were considered "mathematically eliminated" but went on one of the greatest stretch runs in the history of MLB. So, it was not only a Dodger collapse, but the Giants played out of their minds. The highlight clip is amazing, and the emotion in the announcer's voice is some of the best sports audio ever. I have it on an old Sports Illustrated VHS.
-
Good grief, was that stupid. My immediate comment after the review was, "that's going to cost them the game." And it did.
-
Chargers have beaten the Raiders in 10 straight regular season meetings, and covered the spread 9 of those 10. I don't expect anything different tonight. I expect the Pats to thoroughly outclass the Bills.
-
Taking a sack in the end zone was not only a rookie mistake, but it will cost Prince a few starts for the UCLA Bruins. He's having surgery today to repair his broken jaw and will be out 2-4 weeks. The Bruins will have to start another freshman QB against Kansas State.

Far too cat-like to be a marmot, marmots look like a cross between a beaver and a rabbit. Not sure how to tell apart the other choices. Not knowing the location I probably would have guessed mongoose. Beautiful critter, whatever it is!
