For me, the NCAA tournament is very exciting basketball to watch--especially to see the talent that will be moving on to the NBA. March Madness always features really great finishes and upsets and lots of emotion. Great fun to watch. However, basketball is never played at a higher level than by the elite teams in the NBA. As a basketball fan, I can't help but enjoy both. Besides, if a person only watched the NCAA, that person would never see Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, or LeBron James, to name three of the greatest players in the universe who never suited up for a university. Maybe there's less romance, but I get the same rush watching the NBA playoffs as I do the tournament.

I'd heard that "bossa" translated to "style." So "bossa nova" merely means "new style." Although, I suppose "that certain something" does loosely amount to "style."

Consciousness is also outstanding, I have it as a twofer with the Live album Randy mentions.

I struggle to distinguish bossa from samba from mpb. I'll be adding these to my yourmusic queue, I hope they stay available for a while!

It's a simple enough melody that I'd actually buy the coincidence defense--plus I imagine Coldplay might be the types who haven't delved into the Satriani discography. Find the Satriani tune on one of their iPods or in their cd collection, then they've got a case. Unless of course, a tune with the same melody preceding both can be found--then someone else has a case.

I read a bunch of Roald Dahl books (Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, The Witches, etc) in primary school. At one point I read all the Tolkeins, at another a bunch of Stephen King books. I'm one who genuinely enjoyed all the required reading in English courses.

I consider the first Alien one of the best movies I've ever seen. The second one is comedy, Bill Paxson is still Chet from Weird Science. The others...meh.

I already have Soul Symphony, but I ordered the other 3 of the same selections, Big Al.
