I had a very long day yesterday, starting with a bloody Mary at 7am at the Rose Bowl, eating cheeseburgers and drinking beer until game time, watching the injury-depleted UCLA Bruins get their helmets handed to them by the lowly Arizona Wildcats, and concluding with beers until about 7pm whereupon I was in a drunken stupor and hardly able to function. Got home and slept like a log until 7am.

Ouch, gotta fight my way out of the cellar this year. I haven't been doing my research like I was when I had an office pool to work on--and a job.

It's a transition season. No high expectations for this year, but give Neuheisel three to four years of recruits and the Bruins will be a force to reckon with! At the very least, I expect the offensive play calling to be noticeably improved.
