  1. Up to high 50's with afternoon bright sun. Perfect for this: while watching the Bay Hill Invitational. Stuart Appleby shot 6 under for a 66 today (uh oh... 6....66, wonder what *that* means?) Tiger is totally choking.
  2. Happy Birthday Rooster!! (there were no breast-shaped Moonpies to be found.... )
  3. ...doesn't everybody? Have you tried "Kit Kat Bites"? Stick those puppies in your freezer and you'll never eat a whole Kit Kat bar again.
  4. Uncle Reggie did it again! 50 games and we're 1 up on Sacto.
  5. <<You'd be surprised what a woman with a craving will do for satisfaction. >> OK, let's make a deal. You run on down to that Eckerds and buy those Orange babies up for me. In the meantime, I will Fed Ex you a prepaid, self-addressed Fed Ex envelope and clear room in my freezer for them. (Microwaved is good, but actually frozen is ten times better.) Sounds reasonable to me...
  6. Yeah, it seems like the Ravens don't get much out of this deal. It just goes to show that being a whiny kicking-and-screaming adult sized baby *really* does work afterall. Comparing TO to babies is almost offensive to babies. Baltimore has a long memory for things like this -- remember the John Elway drama years ago? My take on Manning is that he deserves it and it freed up a lot of cap. It's all good.
  7. Be careful doing that with the dark Kit Kats! Aw, come on... be a player. Everything tastes better microwaved, ya know. Yea, but I can imagine a puddle of chocolate covering a pile of crisp cookies. Maybe not so crisp at that point! You'd be surprised what a woman with a craving will do for satisfaction.
  8. Wow, those sound wonderful. I love chocolate and orange. (Orange Milanos are awesome as well as Edy's Swisse Orange--chocolate chunks in orange sherbet. )
  9. Be careful doing that with the dark Kit Kats! Aw, come on... be a player. Everything tastes better microwaved, ya know.
  10. Love the dark Kit Kats. And while we're on the subject of irresistible food items w/absolutely no redeeming value whatsoever other than the way they taste, here's a way to make one better (just for you Rooster..) Pop one of those Moon Pies in the microwave for about 10 seconds. You'll think you've died and gone to heaven.
  11. No, but I found a frog on a hog.
  12. Happy Birthday BERIGAN!! Party Naked....
  13. We don't need Reggie to score more than 10 points a night with so many other key players in double figures. (absolutely because of a great coach who can get the best out of every player). The key is *when* he scores the points, not necessarily *how many* points.
  14. Love the Breyers! I never knew vanilla ice cream could be so good. B-3er are you having "sympathy weight gain"??
  15. Jazzmoose, the resemblance is just eery...
  16. Oops...sorry, I didn't mean for my last post to be confusing: The Pacers got beat by the Cavs; the next game that I'm referring to is the Pacers versus the Kings. I'm a true- blue dyed in the (choose local colloquialism of choice here) Pacers fan. But more than that I'm a great game of basketball fan which I *didn't* get to experience visually today. So I guess an LA fan is gonna pull for the PACERS! (what nickname do you have for us?)
  17. Any Cleveland fans out there as ticked off as I am at the network black-out that prevented the Pacers/Cavs game from being televised in either market? I hate that we lost, but listening to it on radio just didn't cut it for me, regardless of the outcome. I wanted to *see* LeBron in action, not hear about it. He had a great game and is the real deal. They certainly are turning things around. Fortunately our next game is Sacramento at home...
  18. Very nice ..... another favorite of mine is Asahi Dry. Me either (partly because it seems like the majority of folks in Indiana call it "Kerrs" and that just bugs me) or the whole "lite" phenomenon. It's beer... it's meant to fill you up and be fattening.
  19. RDK~ Sammy and Dinah are gorgeous!! And your hair is so... um... tidal wave-esque! (I see you around all the time; doesn't your arm ever get tired?)
  20. Congratulations! Look at all of that hair! I have a feeling that the women in here who read your initial post had a collective groan when they read how much he weighs. (I know I did!) Your wife is *da man*!
  21. Oh man.... I posted the wrong pic! "Rachel" is my alter ego when I dress in drag. Here's me at the Free Martha Stewart sit in and candlelight vigil... .... it's black tie optional ( notice my fancy hat )
  22. The vinyl vs. CD episode was great. Ray's Mom on the Fruit of the Month Club, ".... it's like some kind of CULT!!"
  23. I've found out (through anecdotal evidence, of course, since I'm no where near that age) that everything goes to hell at 46. Notice this 46 year old specimen... he can't quite figure out that the door is really unlocked but just opens inward... Also notice the drool...
  24. Depends on how nearsighted you are. People who are a higher degree of minus (nearsighted) might have more adjustment difficulty when switching from one pair to the other. You might consider putting your distance Rx in the top and computer distance in the bottom, and doing the "head tilt" thing to see the computer. That way you won't have to stop and change glasses to see at a distance and thereby you would reduce your need for recovery time. Then, if you need to see something at 10 to 14 inches you could take your glasses completely off. Of course, if you're a high myope you would need to hold the material just in front of your face w/o glasses on. Has your optom/ophthal. discussed other glasses options w/you? You should ultimately adjust to the glasses that you have; you've just been accustomed to having the built in ability to see at near and now age is making that more difficult because your natural lens ain't what it used to be. Ain't optics (and aging) fun?
  25. No, Dan, I'm not nuts, as you so eloquently suggest; just throwing out the fact that Erbitux was approved by the FDA for discussion. So why is the stock doing poorly? Doesn't it have the potential to bounce back if it performs well farther along in FDA trials? As for her demeanor, I guess I didn't realize that she was also on trial for being a bitch.
