What a coincidence Dan. I was listening yesterday to this: Time In A Bottle If I could save time in a bottle The first thing that I'd like to do Is to save every day Till Eternity passes away Just to spend them with you If I could make days last forever If words could make wishes come true I'd save every day like a treasure and then, Again, I would spend them with you But there never seems to be enough time To do the things you want to do Once you find them I've looked around enough to know That you're the one I want to go Through time with If I had a box just for wishes And dreams that had never come true The box would be empty Except for the memory Of how they were answered by you But there never seems to be enough time To do the things you want to do Once you find them I've looked around enough to know That you're the one I want to go Through time with He was also one of my favorite.

  8. I belive also Duke Ellington's recordings will stay in print.
  9. I think you can add Art Tatum's recordings on Pablo and Mingus Debut recordings to this category.
  10. Well known problem. I need it all but I also need to feed my kids… I'd sell my kids on ebay to get the finds needed for these sets if I were you... OK. I'll Mrs. Goren for her opinion

  12. Thank you all for your comments.
  13. I am not a vocal jazz fan, but Cassandra Wilson is something different. One of the great and amazing voices in the jazz history, IMHO. If she ever comes to my country, I can promise you I'll be the first one to stand in the line for a ticket. Cassandra is celebrating her 47 birthday today. I wish her all the best.
  14. At the end of January 2005, Buddy DeFranco will come to play in Tel-Aviv. Of course I would like to see him because Mr. DeFranco is one of the great clarinetists of all time. But I am still debating. The reason is that Buddy DeFranco is almost 82 and I am not sure how his playing level is in this age. If one of you had the honor to listen to Buddy DeFranco recently, Please let me know your impressions.
  15. Thanks Guy. I dont have the 'Holy Ghost' but I like his playing with Ayler on his Impulse recordings.
