i can defintely recommend most of the Paul Motians, specially the On broadway Vol 1,2 &3. I guess I'll use this as an opportunity to complete those. Quite nice if you like him is that JohnMcLaughlin Trio record as he's playing very focused here without diverting to much into the Synthie sound. On the rest... I might need some hint either. Did they have it in stock or did you have to wait ten days before your order was dispatched? I ordered the Basie and the Farmer sets a week ago and they haven't been sent yet. you don't have this BTW: they list on there some 3CD boxed like that here where I have no clue what they are about. Amazon.de lists them as mid October releases. Are those K2 remasters or those ZYX ones ? Cheers, Tjobbe

as said: you can recognize them easily at their Product code. BTW: they sell even some CD's not listed but which are in the orginal Fantasy catalog but you need to contact them via email and they will look them up. They charge for those (at least to what I've payed until now) a premium of 1€ to the normal OJC price of 6,50€ which is still cheaper than importing them from US. @Claude: yes, to my understanding, they charge flat S&H.

for those Europeans who do not know how to spend their hard earned money on Jazz records here some more place to shop: JazzShop24 is the Jazz online shop of ZYX records selling most of the US Fantasy catalog (as well as the in-famous 20/24 ZYX remaster that you normally should try to avoid) They currently do sell right now as part of a Stock clearance all Fantasy SA-CD for 12,60€ and all normal OJC's for 5,85€ (catalogue number starting with OJCCD_) which does not look to bad The normal priced PRCD_/FCD_ are at 9,45€ Payments by Credit Card or upfront Bank transfer. S&H within Germany is 3€ flat (as regular customer I do not get charged). For orders outside germany, I have not seen any indications about S&H so you might need to ask them. The website is in german only but you can contact them via Phone or email either. You can order by mail or fax too. Cheers, Oliver

as mentioned in the other thread the masters are mostly pre-1997 so in case of that Cannonball (I got fooled by the title when ordering as I had the VME already as "....In chicago") this is the original Verve mastering. I bought roughly 13 up to now and none of them has any glitches so I would say they are quite ok for the price tag. I personally am not that happy with the limited 4 pages booklets although all information is on that is needed.
