  5. Essential music.I have the 3cd box set and Love,Gloom,Cash Love.I've been playing those cds over and over again.I can't tell why his music is so special. I also recently bought Regeneration and Change of Season (Soul Note).Very thoughtful version of his songs.
  6. etherbored: Cambridge 640A is a decent AMP.There maybe better around for that price range but I've been really happy with this combination. The amp itself is very neutral sounding and very good for instrumental music in my opinion. It doesn't "color" the sound at all. 640c cdplayer is superb! If I ever decide to upgrade my equipment it's the amp I'm going to change, not the cdplayer.
  7. You guys are really EVIL I was quite happy with my small jazz collection before I began posts on this board. Now I'm trying to figure out how to pay my credit card bills every month just because I buy just a little bit too much of jazz cds
  8. I recently sold my Dynaudio 42 speakers because I auditioned Dynaudio 1.3SE speakers that were for sale. My 1.3SE speakers are connected to Cambridge 640 A amp and C cd-player.The combination is very good.Very neutral sound: I can play anything for whole day without any listening fatigue.Great combination for listening to jazz.

  25. I placed an order for Remain In Light and Fear Of Music today (www.cdon.com) I was told at www.stevehoffman.tv that all the Talking Heads cds are released as CD+DVD-A in Europe, not as Dualdiscs! Phew! If something goes wrong, I will let you know (nothing disastrous is going to happen, believe me!).
