Aaaah..it's getting colder here in Finland at last. We are expecting temperatures between 5 to - 15 fahrenheits during this weekend. It was unusually warm around here during December."Thanks" to global warming . Temperatures were between 46 to 35 fahrenheits around here during December. There was practically no snow on the ground except in the northern part of Finland and it was mostly raining water every day. *sigh*

You can only imagine what It must feel like to find this video linked at this discussion forum Yes, sometimes I feel really ashamed to be a Finn but on the other hand there were really bad music videos around 1978 when "the worst music video ever" was done.

well, it sure beats a price tag of $118.25 over at amazon marketplace. It surely beats the prige tag at amazon.com but on the other hand there are people at stevehoffman.tv website who buy Steve's DCC cds for that price. No matter how good the cd is,I wouldn't like to pay over $50 for one cd.

Played both these over the past couple of day, and, IMHO, Intermodulation doesn't come close to Undercurrent. It's very professional music, played very well, but doesn't have the spark that Undercurrent maintains throughout the session. Thanks for letting me know.I will most likely buy Intermodulation at some point but not very soon.

I listened to Old And New Dreams (Black Saint 120013) about two years ago and I really liked it.Is my best bet to purchase those two Black Saint titles (the title mentioned above) and A Tribute to Ed Blackwell? Can I skip those ECM titles without losing anything important?

As a result, they both invited him to sit in for their own sets and a minor legend was born. A couple of weeks later Pyysalo got his first gigs in the USA, including a stint at the Village Vanguard with Paquito D'Rivera's quintet.

Northbound is an excellent ECM release.I've been listening to it quite a lot recently. Iro's playing and compositions are really good. I don't care very much about her other cds but this one really stands out. Saw her playing just about a year ago when her band played some Edward Vesala's compositions.

I still don't own many BE cds but at last I bought his duet album with Jim Hall (Undercurrent). Magical! I can't get enough of it! Is their another duet "Intermodulation" as good one? According to Penguin Guide it's not nearly as good.Is is still worth purchasing?

What can I say...I'm turning 31 in December and I'm still not sure what do to with my life. I love computers but I guess I'd be a great librarian as well .There is nothing wrong being a librarian in Finland (except really bad salary) I'm studying at the moment and hopefully within the next 3-4 years after graduation I can configure servers,routers,unix-based servers etc.I have some friends (nerdish...) who can't understand how I can stand something like jazz

Phew....i will save some money on this one. My sister is going to buy this me as a combined birthday/Christmas present (my birthday is on December 22nd). No sleep during Christmas Eve Just eating greasy food and browsing through 8th edition of that book.

I use http://www.dvdshrink.org/ to burn all those files on DVD. It works perfectly and it's really easy to use.You can even decide the maximum burning speed and region codes.

Perfect album! This was the one that got me into seriously into jazz around 10 years ago.I have cried many times after listening to this cd.It makes me sob and sometimes cry.
