  1. Roland Kirk - Rip, Rig & Panic - (Limelight stereo orig)
  2. Great record, excellent score. $30 is not bad at all for that title. I've definitely still pulled FMPs for $10 or so, but a lot more have been significantly more expensive than that. The entire catalog is great.
  3. Indeed - excellent player and he'll be fondly remembered.
  4. If my turntable was hooked up right now, I'd be blasting Rodan.

  5. RIP Jason Noble - a person whose music and art mattered to me tremendously, especially as my aesthetics were being formed as a younger person. I wish I'd had the opportunity to meet him - he seemed like a wonderful human being. And to those who knew, loved and worked with him, my thoughts go out to you.

  6. I thought I was just "strapping" in Texas but NYC makes me realize I need to drop at least a dime. Oof.

  7. So the cardboard/bubble wrap/packing tape constructions that house and protect the artworks I'm moving look a lot like Robert Rauschenberg pieces. Maybe their value has increased!

  8. Cage + Musica Negativa - Atlas Eclipticalis/Winter Music/Cartridge Music - (DGG) The other side has some pretty nice absurdist stuff from Dieter Schnebel. These were in my last un-taped uHaul box...
  9. Michel Potage - Occupe - (d'Avantage/Alga Marghen)
  10. Well as soon as it hits the deck it's no longer mint, I guess, but I catch your drift...
  11. Intersystems - Number One - (Cortical Fdn reissue of the Allied original)
  12. This is the Dutch/UK pressing of the Fontana Blood. I used to have a somewhat worn copy but switched to a minty Japanese one with the Roling jacket.
  13. This one? I think this might be his best solo recording! Love it! ubu This is on the Mosaic set, am I right? Cliff, that was on the Monk Black Lion box set as I recall. Right, that's what I thought.
  14. This one? I think this might be his best solo recording! Love it! ubu This is on the Mosaic set, am I right?
  15. Great record. Sometimes those Japanese Fontana CDs are harder to find than the vinyl! Looks like it pops up on eBay and Discogs from time to time, so you should be able to score one eventually.
  16. So John Cale in a wooden crate and the InstantComposers Pool in a chocolate box don't fit so easily into these uHaul vinyl boxes... #firstworldproblems #recordgeekissues

  17. Some of these are in a book I have called Blue Note Jazz Photography of Francis Wolff.
  18. Wow, first email typing in my new address in NY. Interesting.

  19. Walt Dickerson & Jimmi Johnsun - I Hear You John - (Steeplechase)
  20. Man, Skynyrd really has a strong Antietam/Eleventh Dream Day vibe.
