  1. Phil Woods - Pairing Off - (Prestige, OJC reissue) Beautiful.
  2. I created an account on the Raheem forums (!) and inquired there. Maybe we'll find out.
  3. I don't know. I've not heard exact date confirmation from my source, who like I said was told by Yusef Mumin, who was close with Abdul and played with him in the Unity Trio. Indeed, the solo cello LP is extraordinary.
  4. How is that one? I've passed on it a number of times. Not sure as to why. Gesprachfetzen it ain't, but then again it doesn't need to be. I would spend no more than $5 on it; I think mine was $2 and it's very clean. Super-mellow, but very nice. The version of "Visions" is an only-slightly-guilty pleasure.
  5. Marion Brown - Vista - (Impulse)
  6. $20 gets the rest of it, shipped to a US address. Any takers?
  7. Mal Waldron - Play the Blues Live at the Domicile - (Polydor Japan)
  8. Bump - still a few unclaimed titles. Happy to work something out for the stragglers.
  9. Sorry guys, was late in checking my email but am online now for any further orders.
  10. Add that Sahib's Jazz Party CD as well. It's incredible; I bought the LP version when it was around for a hot minute and don't regret it!
  11. Rolf Kuhn / Phil Woods - The Day After - (MPS/BASF Germany)
  12. Some more titles added.
  13. Takagi et Kako Quartet - Jazz a Maison de Japon, Paris - (Nadja/Trio)
  14. Yes, that Black Unity Trio LP is pretty awesome. Hopefully somebody reissues it because downloads just don't cut it.
  15. Sahib Shihab - Sahib's Jazz Party - (Debut/Fontana Japan)
  16. I'd like to hear that one but yeah, it usually goes for a lot (mostly around a grand though I did see one at near 3x that). If the reissue is around $30, as HMV has it listed, it'd be a fair price.
  17. I'm not sure... birth name Ron DeVaughn.
  18. Thanks. I heard from a friend of Yusef Mumin (Joe Phillips), so I assume it's true though he didn't have an exact death date.
  19. Bump: I heard that Mr. Wadud had recently died, but cannot find confirmation on the web. Hope it isn't so, but if it is, sad to know that another great one has passed on. RIP.
  20. He must have been a lurker for a significant amount of that time, though.
  21. New Orleans Jazz at the Kitty Halls - (Arhoolie)
  22. Never cared for Wilco myself, but I do like me some Nels Cline. The Acoustic Guitar Trio material is fabulous.
  23. I just left my belt on 45 because I was spinning 45s last night. No TT issues; rather brain issues.
  24. The Individualism of Gil Evans - (Verve, stereo) Whoops, sounds incredibly crime-jazzy on 45.
