  6. If they are Lexington 10" jackets then for sure, they are very trade-able indeed. Not sure if they are later Liberty or 'UA' 10" jackets though.
  7. Good idea - I've done the same. I want the 6CD Mosaic !

  13. Fair enough ! I thought it might have been taken in the early 50s. A long shot, I admit.

  15. Last time I saw him I think he was part of a McCoy Tyner group with Wallace Roney, Steve Turre and Eric Gravatt on drums. His playing was thoroughly enjoyable.

  22. Ric Colbeck 'The Sun Is Coming Up' (UK Fontana, stereo) It would appear that, like Ravi Shankar, he played with both The Beatles and Coltrane !
  23. A lot of additional detail on this vinyl that sounds sort of 'mushy' on the CD. Jymie Merritt's bass, for example. Good to hear it all nice and clear ! Lee Morgan sounds a bit further back in the mix though, compared with the CD.
  24. Yes, I think it is. The session is from 1972 I think (issued then, recorded 1971) and the UA labels were 'current' during 1970-73. Also, a lot of copies of this one seem to have been given the dreaded 'corner clip' treatment on the sleeve but this one survived unscathed.
  25. 'Lee Morgan' (BN UA blue/white DG(?!) 2LP) Nice to hear this one on vinyl..
