  10. Butler Olive Blakey

  13. I heard it was supposedly 'mint minus' - and from Fred Cohen's Jazz Record Center, so likely to be really good. Still crazy. Why not get the Music Matters 2x45rpm with better sleeve design, better sonics and 100 times less price !
  14. Happy Birthday Ray - my sympathies re: your news.
  15. Dinah Washington George Washington Paul Revere
  16. All 3 would be good but I like the sound of the Herman Select with Basie/Young combo.
  17. Buck Rogers Roy Rogers Trigger
  18. Just got my Mosaic catalogue through the mail today. Nice editorial by Mr Cuscuna giving the background to the set and mentioning that damn Universal fire, as previously mentioned. Will be certain to add this to my Mosaic list, after the Braxton.
  19. Tricky Dicky Dick Turpin Dennis Moore
  20. Sounds pretty good, that one - with those booming baritones. Spinning Max Roach Quartet 'In The Light' (Soul Note)
  21. Solomon Ilori Clifford Solomon Solomon Grundy
  22. I've seen Jasper live on a couple of occasions - not with this band though. For sure, he's one of the best young musicians working on the UK scene at the moment. Very solid bass player.
  23. Great service, as per usual with Mosaic.
