  3. Should be OK, Yves. My Bix/Trumbauer/Tea is going this route too. Chances are it will go US Air Mail anyway. -_- I think you'll enjoy the Gerald Wilson. I pre-ordered this one and have never regretted it ! Even though I have most of it also on the 'black stuff'.

  10. Flurin - this is one that you MUST get. Yes, I know that applies to all Mosaics. But this one more than most. Believe it ! Beg, steal or borrow. Or raid the gnomes of Zurich..
  11. Pat Martino 'El Hombre' (Prestige blue label, stereo)
  12. I've never had an issue with the sound quality of this set. It's a real good one ! Some obscure gems on there too - such as the very fine Liberty-era session with Thad Jones ('Another Story').
  13. Well - Like Ubu I figured that this was probably the best deal that was likely to come along with this set, if bought from Europe. It's been on my list for a while and must surely be within range for 'running low' in the not too distant future, I would have thought. Twee vocals? - ah well, an unavoidable hazard with this vintage of music.
  14. Like King Ubu I've also decided to go for the Bix/Trumbauer/Tea set with the good shipping deal. Hopefully it doesn't go on that Mosaic banana boat via Sweden.
  15. Claire Rayner Dr Ruth Marjorie Proops
  16. Thanks guys, the disks arrived today and I'm just listening to the new one. It is indeed really excellent ! 'Traces' spinning right now. A fine track. Copies of this CD should be sent to the BBC. It would be sure to get some good airplay here I think..
