I was working at 52nd street at Broadway. I would go the the Tower Records up by Columbus Circle. They use to get the TOCJ Blue Note Japanese imports. I loved perusing through the rows of jazz CDs.

Pianist Julius Rodriguez. Anyone else hear of him? After a few highly talented jazz musicians said this man can play, and he will make a big impact to the music, I checked this out this YouTube concert.

I like what he has for place of employment.

Probably. George ended up using that one for the rest of the set and the second set.

At the Coleman gig, he kept the reed in his mouth when he wasn't playing. Is there a reason for that?

I recently saw David Murray live and two weeks earlier, George Coleman live. At both shows David and George changed reeds twice during their first sets. Why would you need to change your reed during the set? I didn't hear any speaks coming from either's horn. Is it something the musician knows that doesn't seem right with the reed in the mouth piece?

I heard some of the music today. There are some unissued takes, false starts, and studio talk. The sound was amazing on what I got a chance to hear.
