I've always like to hear what made someone learn the instrument he or she plays. When I had delusions of being a musician, I gravitated towards the guitar and piano. I took private lessons for about 15 years on both and even studied music in college. I heard Wes Montgomery and I want to play the guitar. He just amazed me. Piano was just something I added about two years after I started on the guitar.

Back when vinyl was the only option and all my music was on vinyl, I use to keep all my albums in a paper sleeve made of cellophane/plastic. I would then put the record back into the cardboard album cover. Is it worth doing this? How are others protecting the collection? I also would use a soft felt brush to wipe the dust away before playing the record.

It may behoove you to send an message to the person(s) that posted your material and let them know you would like this taken down, and explain to them in a congenial tone as to why. I know someone tried going through YouTube to have stuff removed and it didn't do much. When he personally asked the seeders in a polite manner to stop and remove the postings, all obliged.

I only saw him once. It was time around 2002 or 2003. He was with Louis Hayes’s quintet.

Listening to this 50th anniversary reissue, and I am really enjoying the remix of the tunes. My favorite Beatles album.
