    And over the last several years, portions of the improv concert have been released by Psi Records (which is distributed by Emanem Records).

  17. And as an FYI, Test of Time Records (part of 441 Records) has been doing US issues of some of the older Japanese East Wind recordings, starting with the 1977 Village Vanguard recordings with Tony Williams. (And 441 Records did the US issue of Collaboration this Spring.)

  24. Evan Hunter was a jazz fan before he started writing. He played a bit too. The teacher in Blackboard Jungle was a jazz fan.
