Anybody ever timed the delay from release to arrival at BMG/Yourmusic for BN titles? I want my $4.99 RVGs!

I just had a few promo copies of new Concord compilation CDs show up here in the shop. A few Concord recordings side by side with OJC material. The only one I can find right now is called Jazz Moods- Sounds of Spring. Didn't someone else forsee a future of nothing but this sort of thing for the OJC stuff? The future has arrived, kids.

Not The Turbanator's usual band, he's playing with the Duke Jazz Ensemble. I guess I should arrange for a babysitter?

My MMM stuff rocked. Had a moon-rover thing with a bubble-car that it pulled along. Callisto the translucent-headed alien with the purple spaghetti-gun was my favorite thing of all, though. I still check those on eBay but have yet to pull the trigger. Too much jazz to buy, you know?

Alas, I was too, once....sold all mine trying to keep my comic book shop afloat back in the early nineties. I was not cut out to be a businessman... Lots of shops closed in the early nineties. Comic shops weren't cut out to do business then, you know?

Alas, it was spree-free. I suspected as much, but wanted to be prepared just incase. Travelling with a 2 year old leaves little opportunity to shop! I got mine on Tuesday from a friend in the UK. It sounds great to my semi-functional ears (and with an alert shift-key finger it's not as copy-proof as it's cracked up to be). I haven't tried it in a car player, but the warning says it might not work there.
