  1. Kirby/Sinnott, Kirby/Everett, Kirby/Royer... anything but Kirby/Coletta!
  2. Thanks for trying!
  3. Alas, I was too, once....sold all mine trying to keep my comic book shop afloat back in the early nineties. I was not cut out to be a businessman... Lots of shops closed in the early nineties. Comic shops weren't cut out to do business then, you know?
  4. Alas, it was spree-free. I suspected as much, but wanted to be prepared just incase. Travelling with a 2 year old leaves little opportunity to shop! But he will get older, and my sister-in-law ain't leaving Bucks Co. Thanks for the input, all! Sorry I did nothing with it Where (generally) in Bucks is she? She's in Churchville.

  6. My wife wishes I'd given mine away! But I'm hoping my son will be pleased... with the funnybooks AND the Hot Wheels!
  7. Black Bolt indeed, from the mighty pencil of Jack "King" Kirby! Edit: Moose, I'm old too. I'm just the special sort of old that has a basement full of old funnybooks...
  8. Thanks, Kevin!
  9. SOLD. Should I be trying to move the off topic portion of this to Miscellaneous? (And if so, how?)
  10. Sandy, I think you need to take the credit for this. Wasn't it your idea originally? Yes! I'm so thrilled about this I made the wife, son and dinner guest groove to my LP copy all evening. A good day in the Jarrell household indeed!
  11. Hey Kevin- I just did the math: Consequence and High Frequency will fit on one disc. Is there a chance MC is considering this?
  12. Thanks for putting the Quebec bug in MC's ear, Kevin! That's terrific news!!!!!

    BASRA

It's available in Europe. It's only here that it didn't reach the shelves.

    BASRA

I got mine on Tuesday from a friend in the UK. It sounds great to my semi-functional ears (and with an alert shift-key finger it's not as copy-proof as it's cracked up to be). I haven't tried it in a car player, but the warning says it might not work there.
  15. Thanks!!! Etherbored and Conn- yours went out Monday.
  16. Thanks, guys! Is Alan in the phone book?
  17. Ok, I'll probably end up stuck in the in-laws house in Bucks County all weekend, but just incase: any CD/LP shops I oughtta know about? Thanks!
  18. I lucked into relatively inexpensive copies of both of these, neither as cheap as Dan's Julius Watkins! Earlier this year the Foster was available on Amazon at around $50, mine was $16 (sealed!) from a UK dealer (at amazon US) with lame feedback that I took a chance on. It paid off! These get tougher and tougher to track down. Didn't they sell nearly as poorly as the West Coast Classics series?
  19. This is separate, as far as I know. But I'll be asking about it! edit for spelling issues.
  20. I overlooked the Land. Re: vinyl vs CD, vinyl is all he does, and for the US market- I'm not sure if any of the stuff makes it overseas. I like a CD myself, but records will always do in absence of other formats. LP burns are good in a car...
  21. Mannekind was on the list! I'll forward along the Merrill and McRae votes.
  22. The dread Uni-Pak? I never understood it either. Someone thought they were cool enough to patent, though...
  23. Let's just hope it happens! Even a portion of the list would be nice. I'll give an update when there's one to give. Thanks again for the help! Edit: PS: Couw- I forgot the Buddy Terry. I'll fix that asap!
  24. Well just incase you start buying wax again, I just amended my suggetion list with: 337 Hal Galper Guerilla Band 398 Hal Galper Inner Journey And there's two Amboy Dukes records on Mainstream, you know...
