  12. Wimps. [sheesh] Here in the Land of the All Night Heat Lamp, it was a cool 102...with a low of 71 predicted for tonight. SOS in this neck o'the woods.

  14. Forget Hamburger Hamlet. [sheesh] For a real hamburger experience, travel on over to Tommy's World Famous Hamburgers on Beverly and Rampart. Order a Double with chilli and the works [a thick slice of tomato, pickles, onions and cheese] and don't forget the 'little big hots' chillies on the counter in the jar. Get it with fries and a drink...you won't be sorry Oh, and have plenty of napkins on hand...you'll need them. Trust me.
  15. Cool. BTW, Circuit City is where I bought my Sony CD Players. You might also want to see if they have any floor or gift return models of the same equipment. Might save you a few more bucks.

  22. Yup. I date back to the KLON daze and beyond. Long Beach State is my alma mater. I really miss Chuck Niles, though. Been a fan of his since he was on KCBA/KKGO FM back in the 70s.
  23. Nero is easier to use, but Roxio has more functions.
