  5. That, sir, is one of the most powerful sets of words written about music I've ever had the good fortune to read. Thank you.

  10. Allen, that's just wrong! .... *snicker*
  11. I LOVE this session, although interestingly (I think Jsngry pointed this out) they removed the "saw" that someone was playing on one track for the CD mix!
  12. Good luck with the move, Mark, and have a safe trip!
  13. Nice! I'll drop you a line when it gets closer. It would be great to (finally) grab a brew!
  14. Yup--jonesin' hard to get back east--I'll be in NYC Sunday through Monday, Philly the rest of the time. Will you be around? It doesn't look there's a lot of music that weekend, oddly, other than George Cables @ Lincoln Center, who I saw in Seattle last week! Peter, I take you're going to be around at that time? ←
  15. Oddly reminiscent of something....ah yes, I've got it:
  16. Absolutely!!! Peter, How 'bout we hook something up on the West Coast next spring? ←
  17. Come on, Greg, please get something on the books for NYC or Philly October 22-24!!!
  18. Can you tell I've recently gotten the ol' TT back on line? I'm musically schizo these days for sure!
  19. Listening to Reaching Fourth right now, and it does, indeed, go down well! A terrific album, well worth picking up! Not your father's piano trio!
  20. Interesting to me 'cause Vincent was the first "live" act I ever saw (Val-Air Ballroom, Des Moines sometime in the '50s) and the last "big" pop/rock concert I attended was Dylan and The Band in the Boston Garden circa 1973. ← Sheesh, if only...my first "live" act was Duran Duran/David Bowie in Portland, OR in 1988. Not counting the Oregon Symphony, of course. Oh well, we all have to come to the music somehow! Sorry for the hijack. Carry on...
  21. And now for something completely different...
  22. Shee-hit, Ethiopian Knights is even fonkayer than I remember!!!
