Bluesman Eddie "Guitar" Burns passed away on December 12, 2012. For most of his career, he recorded a series of 45s for small Detroit based labels. Later in his career, he recorded several albums. I heard him play at a small club in the late 1980s, and he could still do it then.
The Dutch Moonshine label collected a number of his early singles on an album called Treat Me Like I Treat You. It's a bootleg, but Eddie was selling copies at the gig I heard him play, so I guess he was happy with it. If you can find a copy these days, it's well worth playing and listening to.

Interesting to see that Marvin Gaye is credited as the drummer on "Orange Driver"/"Hard Hearted Women" (Harvey 118). I have that 45 somewhere. Harvey was Harvey Fuqua's label, so it may well have been the case.
