  2. Not to mention, stupid.
  3. I have to agree with Richard Williams, and.... Johnny Coles Howard McGhee Tommy Turrentine Dizzy Reece Carmell Jones Oh hell, all the ones listed I know of are all good examples of underrated. I might add, Charles Tolliver and Lonnie Hillyer.
  4. If you're saying who I think you're saying, sign me up as well.
  5. I went on a "Fathead" Newman shopping trip lastnight. I also ordered some Sonny Criss after a strong recommendation from a fellow board member.
  6. I've got one. The stupid fucking McDonald's commercial when the four jackoffs are playing poker with the french fries. The one dork after winning the big pot proceeds to eat the hand soiled fries with a dumbass look and a blissful reaction on his face as to lead us to believe the damn things are still hot.
  7. I assume this is current. http://www.touchemusic.se/artists.html
  8. What really sucks is when the over night temps here will not drop below the mid 90's to low 100's, that is coming real soon. I think it was 88 when I left the house at 4:50 AM.
  9. I finally ordered this today.
  10. are those them ogre-sized thingies? I think you're right. I crush 'em up and smear them on the tops of my flip flops, it keeps the cats away.
  11. I saw Mackrel when he was playing with the Dizzy Gillespie Alumni band in Las Vegas a few years back. He is great, and a nice guy as well.
  12. I'm begging you, please stop rubbing it in! No clouds, no fog, but we do have temps around 110, with an ever so hot breeze.
  13. Looks like I share the same opinions as you guys. I don't believe the lack of reporting about Elvin's death is racist, that was a ridiculous claim to make. Santana seems to have a problem with MTV playing up Ozzy Osbourne and other "corny-ass white people", but seems to have no problem when they play his corny-ass up. The guy can play guitar, but his music ain't all that inspiring.

I want to say that it has, in Japan. You might check Mr. Tanno, or Dusty Groove. They occasionally have the vinyl, too. French Cookin'
  17. Same here. I think it's also improved my spelling skills and may have helped with my grammar. Well, maybe not all that much. On the jazz side, I've learned a lot. My ears have been opened to all kinds of wonderful music I otherwise would probably not have known about. B)

I agree. Budd Johnson was the real deal. These are great dates.
  19. 1938. I've not had to do much to it. The people I bought it from had just re-done the wood floors, cabinets, and bathroom, right before the dude got transferred out of state.
