Something quite different. “Jazz at the New School” cd A well-lubricated session. I think a bass player as sober as a judge would have helped tighten this up. But it’s fun as is and Krupa is really feeling it!

Not trying to be a jerk, but it's so easy to find out for yourself, that's all I'm trying to point out. I do things like this several times a day rather than post for others to do the work. I remember how exciting this 2 LP set was when first issued. I’ve had a number of different versions. Listening today to the 2023 Blu-Spec CD2 version, disc 1. (I love the Japanese cover). Sound especially good.

Miles Davis & John Coltrane “The Final Tour Copenhagen March 24 1960” Sony Blu-Spec CD2 Japan 2023 This tour was fascinating night by night.

“Thelonious Monk/Sonny Rollins” Prestige Rudy Van Gelder Remasters cd Japan So much to discover every time listening to this music. Sonny and Monk seeming to understand the music and its spirit so well together, simultaneously. The sound on these Concord Rudy Van Gelder Remasters I find very good, especially the mono recordings.

Fabiano Do Nascimento “Preludio” What an event each of his cds is. What a masterful player and builder of atmosphere.
