  1. Me too, plus the Eddie Condon set I added to that order.
  2. Byrd had a really good band here. Pepper Adams and Duke Pearson were band members.
  3. All All night sessions on two cds.
  4. An album I like a lot by one of my two favorite, together with Hampton Hawes, west coast pianists.
  5. A perfect meeting of minds. With the 58 edition of the Messengers with Johnny Griffin, Bill Hardman and Spanky Debrest.
  6. I got it a long time ago and have been very happy with it. So I will insist in the same.
  7. With Raney and Hall on The Street Swingers.
  8. Not really a boxset. A 2CD set. But I view it as such because of its completeness (the full quartets with Sonny Clark). There are three LPs worth of material here.
  9. and Thelonious Monk - The complete Prestige recordings
  10. Remember that one greatly.
  11. Very good concerts at the Club St. Germain. With, apart from Wilen, Kenny Dorham and Duke Jordan.
  12. I love that set. With Christian, Hampton, Goodman a.o.
  13. Kim Gordon's autobiography. An interesting honest and bittersweet memoir recalling sixties California when she was growing up and her time with Sonic Youth.
  14. Ah, thanks. But not involving the two of them together?
  15. I didn't know there was a Monk Nichols duo. What a label is it on?
  16. This double disc (it actually contains three albums. All recorded in 1956) holds a high position in my list. I listen to it often. It unites Criss with Barney Kessel and Kenny Drew, on the first session, and Sonny Clark and Lawrence Marable, on the other two.
  17. I liked (and like) Campus Hop on RCA and I had the craziest dream on Capitol. Very nice West Coast Jazz.
  18. Yes, because I also ordered it a couple of days ago. It was always high on my list.
  19. A nice 1956 private recording with his then working trio with Eddie Costa and Vinnie Burke. And apart from Farlow one outstanding thing here is the piano playing of Eddie Costa.
