The only time I saw Miles was in 81 & 82, but I never bought any of the 80s albums. I might get this one. If for no other reason than I have all the other 'Bootleg' series sets. This is a photo I took at the 82 show at Zellerbach Hall, Berkeley

Not familiar with him. I'll check that out! Nice lineup.

I'll check out the anthology. Sounds interesting. I liked their first few albums, but lost interest after that.

I thought the NYT Obit was interesting since I really didn't know that much about him other than the Band connection and his wild reputation. What also caught my eye was that it was on the same page as Alan White's obituary and BOTH had connections to John and Yoko's Toronto period

Saw them in 81 at the Old Waldorf club in SF on their first tour. Great show!
