Yes, it's about a quarter of the price of buying the UK versions. Unfortunately the US version side 4 is pressed off centre which leads to a little distortion. This will do until I can afford a UK upgrade. Great music Quote

Other than Blue Note, I can't say I am a fan of US pressings. Especially from the 70s. The Dutton-Vocalion CDs are an excellent distortion-free alternative. Kevin Bresnahan Posted December 7, 2023 Report Posted December 7, 2023 Just finished spinning Tina Brooks - Minor Move (Tone Poet). Now up, Cannonball Adderley - Live At The Lighthouse (Riverside). This is a good one. I forget how much fun this record is until I spin it again. I'm hearing that the Tone Poet series might be doing some Capitol titles in the coming years. As this is one of the Riverside dates that Cannonball took to Capitol, it would be an excellent choice. Quote

I love this album. Victor Feldman! My money is on this, Blue Serge and Onzy Matthews Blues with a Touch of Elegance being the Capitol titles released as Tone Poets in 2025.
