I'd forgotten how good this set was as I've not reached for it in a while, Eddie Miller sounding very good indeed. Great sound , Capitol 78s seem to be way better than any other jazz labels of that time in my experience.

Although I've had this set sine release , the last 3 discs were still sealed until today. Disc IX spinning right now. Excellent transfers which are faithful to original issues .

So glad I bought this ( minutes before it vanished). Such a great set , could do with more vocals by Mr T but what's there is excellent. Great sound too.

I'm sure you'll love it. Calling it Dixieland just doesn't seem right. It's classy music. I'm not sure why I left it so long as this set was on my radar to some extent for years. Nothing like 'last chance' to galvanise me into action.
