Rooster_Ties Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 I see there is a new Walton disc out today. From the cover, looks like Jeremy Pelt is on it! Cedar Walton -- Seasoned Wood (Highnote) Quote
Son-of-a-Weizen Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 Sounds nice. I've always enjoyed 'Plexus' on Hub Cap and didn't realize 'till now that Walton wrote it. Quote

mjzee Posted May 23, 2018 Report Posted May 23, 2018 I listened today to one of my favorite CDs, Jackie McLean's "Nature Boy." Cedar Walton is so good on it, and I got to wondering what he's up to. Checking Wikipedia, I discovered that he passed away in 2013. I don't think it was ever discussed here. Now's as good a time as any to celebrate his work. Quote
